Eugene BaldwinEugene Baldwin is a playwright, fictionist, professional musician, award winning arts educator and avocational archaeologist.

Nicknamed The Artifact Hunter, Eugene is a native of southern Illinois who has has been finding and collecting Indian artifacts since he was a child. Today, his collection includes several thousand pieces. Eugene's knowledge about archaeology comes from sharing his finds with archaeologists from various universities and contract archaeologists working in the Downstate region, as well as his friend, Native American and archaeology consultant Leo Thompson (Iron Bear Wolf).

Eugene will be showing some of his artifacts at the lecture.
