Matching Gifts
Did you know that many companies offer a matching gift program as part of employee benefits? If you or your spouse are affiliated with a company that matches contributions to higher education, your gift to Shimer College increases in value. As always, you receive the benefit of a tax deduction for the value of your gift.
Please contact your company's human resources office for eligibility requirements, and initiate a matching gift claim by following your organization's procedures. If a form is required, please send a completed and signed form along with your gift. If you've already made your gift, you can still apply for a claim. Simply mail your completed form to:
