In Memoriam

Frank Pooler (March 29, 1926 – January 19, 2013) was an award-winning American choirmaster, and former Director of Choral Studies at California State University, Long Beach. Previous to his engagement at Cal State, he taught Music and Humanities at Shimer College from 1949 to 1954. He is well known for his role as musical director for The Carpenters in the 1970s.
