Montaigne Scholarship Competition
 The
deadline for the Montaigne Scholarship competition, February 1, 2013,
is fast approaching. On the weekend of February 16, prospective students
will be visiting Shimer and competing on the basis of their merit in
writing and discussion--the kind that Shimer students undertake every
day. The Montaigne Scholarship competition awards full- and
half-tuition, renewable scholarships for the 2013-2014 academic year. If
you know of a prospective student who may be interested in the
competition, please refer them to www.shimer.edu/montaigne. Don't forget the students referred by an alum will have their application fee waived.
Alumni, if you are interested in volunteering during the weekend of the competition, please let us know by e-mailing alumni@shimer.edu.
We are looking for a limited number of alumni to have lunch with
prospective students, as well as possibly serve on informational panels. |
